To kick off the conference, Rob will provide an overview of cloud computing: what it's all about and why it's become the current hot topic in the industry. He will summarise the offerings and services provided by the leading players and discuss the potential benefits that these services are designed to deliver.

Rob will also consider how Caché and similar technologies might play in the new cloud-based architectures, either through integration with cloud services or as a technology that supports cloud services.
